VOICES OF VOLUNTEERS

Working with the Southern Oregon Historical Society this video documents how volunteers have contributed to the success of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

I filmed and edited this video.

COMPRESSION PROJECT

For this project, I recorded myself on cello, playing softly while using close miking and high gain. Various finger techniques created the percussive sounds.
I then manipulated this source material using Ableton Live.

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID

A collaborative project that used Kafka's "Before the Law" and "The Trial" as inspiration.
Our project attempted to portray and provoke the frustration of confronting bureaucracy. We focused on its repetitive nature, consumption of time, specialized tools to navigate its many layers, and overall annoyance of a process that has a low success rate.
I designed the sound, shot the footage and edited the piece.
